The School of Social Work's vision is to reinvent the social work profession through focused employment of interdisciplinary inquiries, research, and technology. By creating and advancing knowledge for students and the profession, the School strives to improve the well-being of the economically and socially disadvantaged by using proactive approaches to achieve a more just, equal, healthy, and productive society. The SSW offers programs leading to Masters of Social Work and Doctoral degrees, as well as Certificate and Training programs in Geriatric Social Work, School Social Worker Certification, Sol Drachler Program in Jewish Communal Leadership and Training in Social Research on Applied Issues of Aging.
