Parmesan Pizza Sauce [MMHC Spores Illustrated, Jan., 2005, p. 8]
Ingredients
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon instant chicken
bouillon granules
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
In a small
saucepan cook the onion and garlic in butter until onion is
tender
but not brown. Stir in the flour and pepper. Stir and let bubble
for 1
min. Add the milk and bouillon granules all at once. Cook and stir
until
slightly thickened and bubbly. Continue to cook and stir for 3 minutes.
Stir in
the Parmesan cheese. Makes about 1 cup sauce
