Who Are Our Faculty?

The University of Michigan School of Public Health's Department of Health Management and Policy has earned a top national ranking largely because of its world-class faculty.

Our faculty comprises nationally and internationally recognized leaders in the field of health care. The professors in the Department of Health Management and Policy are authors of textbooks and editors of leading journals. Our faculty also sit on national and international advisory boards. Perhaps best of all, the faculty in our Executive Master’s Program consider themselves both teachers and collaborators. They are familiar with the unique needs of working students and are keenly interested in supporting their professional goals.

Unlike other executive programs, our students are guaranteed the same quality of education and instruction as our full-time residential students. The faculty who teach in the Executive Master's program are the same instructors that teach residentially.

One of the unique benefits of the Executive Master’s program are the built-in opportunities to learn from real, active leaders in the healthcare field. Guest lecturers in the program include presidents, vice presidents, CEOs, and COOs of health organizations around the nation who share their practical experiences and professional insights from the leadership track to help you accomplish your goals.

Beyond teaching, our faculty, as well as guest lecturers, will provide students with valuable mentorship and networking opportunities that will take your learning to the next level.
